Carrión beach is located in the municipality of Los Alcázares, on the shore of the Mar Menor.


It is an urban beach equipped with services. It is located between Manzanares beach and La Concha beach. It has night lighting, bicycle racks and special equipment for the disabled. It has a length of 600 m and a width of 15 m. It is a very visited beach. There is a promenade along the entire length of the beach.

Another one of Los Alcazares's popular urban beaches on the shore of the Mar Menor. Named after the abundance of surrounding palm trees, it and is located between the Avenida del Carril de las Palmeras and the Avenida de Mariano Ballester. It stretches from Los Narejos beach to Espejo beach.


In the migration season of birds it is a good location to observe their movements. It is flanked by a promenade and has night lighting and spaces for the development of sports activities, as well as beach bars.

The 7 km of sandy beaches in Los Alcázares are linked by a paved promenade from Playa de La Concha in the south to Playa Las Salinas in Los Narejos. In the summer season, expect medium-high occupancy.




The promenade is a glorious seafront walk with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along the way. It’s a great place to stop for a chilled meal and indulge in some ‘people watching’. There’s also plenty of shade, exercise equipment, and several children’s play areas.
